Airsoft- Alternative to the Video Game


Airsoft provides game lovers with a real life experience game. You are part of the game, not only do you get to handle and use resembling military equipment you also get to wear the uniform, at lest some protective wear that almost resembles the attire. It is a safe game to play that as all the equipment and attire are made just for that. It can be played by anyone and is restricted to those under seventeen years of age.

Airsoft is basically a modified and much more exciting game to Paintball. The rules to the game originated in Japan. One of the major differences being no use of pint gel in Airsoft. This has resulted in honesty being one of the foundations of the game. This opens up opportunities for cheating practices. Marshals monitor the game to make sure there is very little cheating that occurs. As with everything there are rules and these stand unchanged and are enforced. The basic rules of the game include:

  • - If you're hit, you're out of the game.

  • - You cannot use physical force, as the object of the game is to shoot the opposition, and have fun.
The game has increased in popularity from Japan all the way to Europe. You can spot specific areas that have been built specifically for the game. It is not only just a game for some but a hobby. Some people indulge in it occasionally and the game has become one of their common activities in their lives. The good thing bout the game is the safe precautions taken which are already part of the attire and the equipment.
